Ronda Smith

Ronda C. Smith, of Greenfield, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the age of 70.

She was born on December 24, 1954 in Cororan, California, to Wayne Duncan and Naomi Hanshew.  

Ronda was united in marriage to James T. “Jimmie” Smith and they shared 29 wonderful years together. She had many occupations including working as bookkeeper and at a powerplant for many years.  Ronda enjoyed doing crafts, and also liked going fishing.  She loved her family and enjoyed hosting family gatherings.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Wayne Duncan and Naomi Damron; her husband, Jim Smith; three sons, Wayne Dill, Russell Smith, and Pat Smith; her brother, Michael Duncan; and one grandchild, Larry Dill.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Dill, and Timothy Smith and his wife, Cheryl; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Corry Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1to 2 p.m. at Greenfield Funeral Chapel.  

Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
