Bessie Handley

Bessie Lea Handley, recently of Ash Grove, Missouri, passed away July 17, 2025.  She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, one granddaughter, and one great, great-grandson.  

She is survived by daughter Christine Elaine Watts and her husband, Troy, of Ash Grove; daughter Donna Jo Weter and her husband, Frank, of Springfield;  son Rick Wilson and his wife, Jeannie, of Huntsville, Arkansas;  son David Handley and his wife, Joyce, of Sevierville, Tennessee;  son Jessie Handley and his wife, Linda, of Hermitage, Missouri;  son Larry Handley and his wife, Shirley, of Fayetteville, Arkansas.  She is  also survived by great-grandson, Tyler Marsh, whom she raised from a baby into is late teens, and his wife, Nacole, of Springfield, Missouri.  Bessie is also survived by 23 grandchildren, plus great-grandchildren , and great, great -grandchildren.

Bessie enjoyed fishing, sewing. reading and spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Private services to be held at a later date.
