City of Everton Calls Special Meeting for today, September 24th

The City of Everton has called a Special Meeting for today, September 24th, 2025 at 4 p.m. The meeting is being held to rescind Bill No. 224 - Revised Ordinance No. 17, an ordinance concerning salaries and fees. The most recent revision to the ordinance was voted on and passed at the City Council Meeting on September 10th, 2025, granting the Mayor and Board Members to receive compensation for their duties, in the form of a $65 credit towards their city sewer/water bills each month, taking effect and being in full force from and after its passage.
