Donald Long

Donald D. Long, 87, of Rogersville, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. He was born September 27, 1937, in Galloway, Missouri, to Virgil and Helen May (Elfrits) Long. 

Donald was a dairy farmer, and he loved being and working on his farm. He also loved Cardinal baseball, both Springfield and St. Louis. Donald will be missed by those that knew and loved him. 

Donald is survived by sons, Ronald Long and wife, Cindy; Phillip Long and wife, Heather; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings: Norman Long; Leroy Long; Bill Long and wife, Carol; Jerry Long; Lola Dickens; Carolyn Hufft and husband, Bob; niece, Nancy Manning and husband, Bo; other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Helen Long; siblings, Leon Long, Christine Harris, Jim Long, Betty Lock, Mary Lou Cross, Paul Long, and Darrell Long. 

Visitation was 10 a.m. until service time, Monday, September 29, 2025, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services began at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Ash Grove Cemetery.
