Brittany Barker

Brittany Ashe Barker, 31, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025.  She was born June 10, 1994, in Springfield, Missouri, to Richard Barker, Jr. and Michelle (Utterback) Barker.  

Brittany had been working on becoming a paralegal to help advocate for children that were in the hospital often, like she had been. She loved classic television shows like, Price is Right, Judge Judy, and any and all cooking shows. Brittany also enjoyed watching Marvel movies and Harry Potter. She loved to cook and had her own pickling company, pickling all sorts of different foods. She will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.   

Brittany is survived by father, Richard Barker, Jr. and wife, Cynthia; mother, Michelle Barker and husband, Leroy; siblings: Bear Barker, Alexandra Barker, Brittany Harp; nieces: Penelope Barker, Ash and Attie Harp; grandparents, Larry Utterback and Brenda Pratt; boyfriend, Artem Taylor and his son; her guinea pig children, Charlie Sheen and Tony Danza; other family and friends.

Brittany is preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Laura Barker and Larry Pratt. 

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2025, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to NKF: National Kidney Foundation or Ronald McDonald House and may be left with the funeral home.
