Kenneth Coose
November 05, 2025
Kenneth Ray Coose, 64, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in his home surrounded by family.
He was born on March 23, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Hubert and Luanna Coose. The family moved to Lockwood, Missouri, in 1972, where Kenny graduated from Lockwood High School in 1979.
On October 18, 1980, he married his high school sweetheart, Rhonda. The couple shared 45 wonderful years together and made Lockwood their home before moving to Arkansas in 2019 to be closer to their grandchildren.
Kenny loved God, family, and the mountains. The mountains were truly his happy place — where he enjoyed hunting, four-wheeling, fishing, hiking, and simply being surrounded by nature. If not in the mountains, he was on the lake. He spent countless hours pulling kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews behind the boat. Family vacations were always a top priority. The joy of Kenny’s life was truly his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Coose; father-in-law, Kenneth Davis; mother-in-law, Geraldine Davis; sister-in-law, Debbie Davis; and niece, Jennifer Brown.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Rhonda Coose; daughter, Bonnie Minardi and her husband, AJ, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; son, Mark Coose and his wife, Chelsea, of Republic, Missouri; and his four treasured grandchildren — Finn, Violet, Calvin, and Alice. He is also survived by his mother, Luanna Coose of Lockwood, MIssouri; brothers, David Coose and wife, Elaine, of Lockwood, Missouri; and Larry Coose and wife ,Teresa, of Lockwood, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Ron Davis and wife, Patricia, of Springfield, Missouri; and Randy Davis and wife, Lori, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
Kenny will be remembered for his deep faith, his love for the outdoors, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him.
The family received friends on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. with the funeral service following at 3 p.m. at the Lockwood Christian Church. Private family burial was at the Lockwood Cemetery.
