Harry Lee Beerly, of Golden City, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in his home at the age of 82.
Harry was born on April 28, 1943 to Henry and Edith (Quade) Beerly.
He graduated from Lockwood High School and spent many years as a truck driver. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Golden City. Harry was an avid golfer. He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren, they were the “joy of his life.”
He was preceded in death by one son, Chad Beerly; his parents, Henry and Edith Beerly; and two sisters, Evelene Huffman and Stella Kinney.
Harry is survived by two sons, Darren Beerly and Brandon Beerly; his wife, Dee; five siblings: Dorothy Pugh; Henrietta Parker and husband, Stanley; Carl Beerly and wife, Joyce; Lewis Beerly and wife, Patty; and Gaylon Beerly and wife, Betty; six grandchildren: Grace Moore and husband, Jacob; Will Beerly; Page Beerly; Emma Bronson; Zachary Keith; and Grace Beasley and husband, Jared; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the First Christian Church of Golden City.
Burial followed at the Greenwood-Kistler Cemetery.
The family received friends on Monday morning at 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greenwood-Kistler Cemetery.
