Andrea Lincoln

Andrea Kay Lincoln, age 81, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Lawrence County Manor in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Kay was born February 25, 1944, in Bell, California, the daughter of Brent and Kathleen (Chavose) McCune.

Kay worked at the Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Vernon, for over 30 years. She loved to sing, play cards, and square dance. She loved her Summit Baptist Church family. She was a member of the Summit Baptist Church for over 40 years. 

On July 14, 1961, Kay married the love of her life, Ronnie Lincoln, in Stockton, California and together they raised three children. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2020.

Kay is survived by her three children: Donovan Lincoln and his wife, Leta, of Washburn, Missouri; Darren Lincoln and his wife, Teressa, of Aurora, Missouri; and Wendy Lincoln of Branson, Missouri; one sister, Barbara McCune of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; two brothers, Brent McCune and his wife, Beverly, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; and Ken McCune and his wife, Shyre, of Holts Summit, Missouri; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild due in May.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Brent and Kathleen McCune and her husband, Ronnie Lincoln.

A visitation under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, was held from 10 –11 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Summit Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial followed at Summit Cemetery.
