Pam Mahaffey

Pam Mahaffey, 72, of Ash Grove, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025. She was born on November 30, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa. 

On November 1, 1986, Pam and Edward Mahaffey were united in marriage and shared over 36 years together before Ed’s passing in 2023. 

Pam was one of the first women in the United States Coast Guard and served during Vietnam. She also was a volunteer with the Willard Fire Protection District for many years. 

Pam enjoyed reading, crocheting, and traveling, especially cruises. She will be missed by all those that knew and loved her. 

Pam is survived by her childraen: Chris Lecompte and wife, Pam; Beth Wilson and husband, Aaron; grandchildren: Leighton Lecompte, Dante Wilson, Colten Stoker, Kyndall Stoker; seven great-grandchildren; mother, Dee Jones; siblings: Vicki Metzger and husband, Bruce; DiAnne Smith and husband, David; Kris Hoffmeister and husband, Jerry; sister-in-law, Pam Eley; nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. 

Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Mahaffey; father, Ramon Duncan; and grandson, Tyler. 

Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026, at New Life Baptist Church, Willard, Missouri.
