William Lewis

William Eugene Lewis, age 76, of Everton, Missouri, passed away at 8:46 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Mt. Vernon Place Care Center. He was born June 22, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of the late Dan and Agnes (Conner) Lewis.

William was a 1967 graduate of Northeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri, and was a United States Air Force Veteran. He received his master’s degree in criminal psychology from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. 

On September 18, 1976, he married Wilma Denise Villines in Kansas City, Missouri. She preceded him in death on December 16, 2020.

William is survived by his daughter, Shauna Huddleston and her husband, Steve, of Joplin, Missouri; one son, Thomas Lewis, of Bend, Oregon; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
