January 28, 2026

Lewis Henry “Louie” Beerly, of Golden City, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, January 19, 2026, in the Good Shepherd Community Care and Rehabilitation Facility at the age of 79.
He was born on July 5, 1946 in Golden City, Missouri, to Henry Joseph and Edith Ann (Quade) Beerly.
Louie graduated from Lockwood High School. He was united in marriage to Patty Lou Wilson on September 11, 1970 in Arcola, Missouri.
Louie had worked at O’Sullivan Industries.  He also farmed and was a truck driver.
Simple things made him the happiest.  Louie enjoyed sitting around talking with his family, caring for animals, and playing cards with his brothers.
He loved his grandkids and always made it a priority to be at their ballgames.  Louie found joy in riding horses, and playing the piano and guitar.  He was the most caring and kind individual that most will ever know.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry and Edith Beerly; one brother, Harry Beerly; and two sisters, Evelene Huffman and Stella Kinney.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Beerly of the home; three children: Ryan Beerly of Lockwood, Missouri; Angela Baker and husband, Darren, of Lockwood, Missouri; and Andrea Beerly and Brandon Glennon of Lockwood, Missouri; four grandchildren: Jack and Makenzie Purinton, Allie Harmon, and Raddler Beerly; four siblings: Dorothy Pugh; Henrietta Parker and husband, Stanley; Carl Beerly and wife, Joyce; and Gaylon Beerly and wife, Betty; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
