Linley Shouse

Linley Oral Shouse, of Greenfield, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 80.
He was born on January 17, 1946 in Greenfield, Missouri, to Lullel Oral “Bill” and Edna Jewell (Wilson) Shouse.  
Linley graduated from Greenfield High School.  
He was married to Glenda (Moss) Cope and they had one daughter, Gayle.  Linley was married to Betty (Boucher) Shouse.  
On May 11, 1982, he was united in marriage to Debi (Rector) Shouse and they had two daughters, Caitlin and Whitney.  Linley worked various jobs throughout his life, but his love was farming.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Bill and Jewell Shouse; one brother, Gary Shouse; his second wife, Betty (Boucher) Shouse; and one nephew, Kevin Shouse.
Survivors include his wife, Debi Shouse, of the home; three daughters: Gayle Hoogstraet (Greg) of Springfield, Missouri; Caitlin Shouse (Amanda) of Springfield, Missouri; and Whitney Shouse of Springfield, Missouri; one grandson, Preston Wycoff; five granddaughters: Gillian Hoogstraet (Evan), Gina Hoogstraet, Forest Wycoff, Temperance Wycoff, and Amelia Wycoff; two sisters, Beverly Hickman (Harold) of Morrisville, Missouri and Carolyn Underwood of Greenfield, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Mike Rector (Diane) of Kirkwood, Missouri and Stephen Rector (Susan) of Denver, Colorado; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Greenfield Funeral Chapel.  Burial followed in Greenfield Cemetery.  
The family received friends on Tuesday at 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral chapel.  
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
