Marjory Daniel

Marjorie Lee (Richter) Daniel, of Greenfield, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, in her home at the age of 93.

She was born on January 10, 1933 in Ash Grove, Missouri, to Theodore Kermit and Nina Bell (Wilkerson) Richter.  

Marjorie was united in marriage to Oral G. Daniel on August 27, 1949 in Springfield, Missouri. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church.  

Marjorie was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was well known for her cooking abilities and could prepare a large meal at a moments notice. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, Kermit and Nina Richter; her brother, Donald Richter; and her sister, Shirley Kay Chism.

Survivors include her husband, Oral Daniel of the home; five children: Randy Daniel and wife, Jolene of South Greenfield, Missouri; Doyle Daniel and wife, Rita of Everton, Missouri; Ted Daniel of Greenfield, Missour; Sheila Perkins of Greenfield, Missouri; and Donna Birch and husband, Tim, of Greenfield, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great, great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Greenfield Funeral Chapel.  

Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m at the funeral chapel.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
