John Litchford

John M. Litchford, 34, of Ash Grove, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026. He was born November 22, 1991, in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Jim and Sharon (Farmer) Litchford.
John was a man who loved the Lord deeply and lived his faith in the way he treated others. His love for Jesus shaped his life and guided his words, which were always thoughtful, articulate, and intentional. He had a special love for his family, especially his brothers, and cherished the bond they shared.
A 2010 graduate of Ash Grove High School, John was known for his many talents and vibrant personality. He played for and loved representing the Ash Grove Pirates. He was exceptionally gifted in art and writing, had a beautiful singing voice, and carried a deep love for music. He also had a passion for sports and was a devoted fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys. Whether cheering on his teams or sharing his latest creative work, John brought enthusiasm and heart into everything he did.
He had a natural ability to captivate a room. Funny and well-spoken, he was often the life of the party, drawing people in with his warmth and quick wit. More than anything, John loved helping others. He had a servant’s heart and a genuine way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued. His presence was unforgettable, and his words will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
John is survived by his parents, Jim Litchford and Sharon Litchford; brothers: Brandon Ruckman and wife, TaSha; Heath Ruckman and wife, Tabitha; nieces and nephews: Xander, Chole, Sterling, Erika, Kennady, Nycolas, Alli, JaSha, Olivia, Carsyn, Liam; great niece, Deja; grandmother, Sandra Farmer; other family, and friends.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Vennie Litchford and James F. Farmer.
Visitation was 5-7 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2025 at Ash Grove Assembly of God. Funeral services were 2 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the church, with burial to follow at Johns Chapel Cemetery.
