January 18, 2017

Joe Clifford Hampton, 81, formally of Everton Missouri, went to be with his Lord on January 16, 2017, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Joe was born near Greenfield, Missouri, on October 10, 1935. He married Lou Ann Bryant on June 12, 1954. The draft came in 1958 and Joe proudly went to serve his country on July 10. He served for 2 years as an examiner at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Joe served various churches, as well as, being the full time minister for the Everton Christian Church and the Greenfield First Christian Church for over 17 years before his illness forced him to retire.

Joe loved farming and spending time in the fields feeding and tending to his cattle. You would often find him and his brother at heart, Jimmie Bryant, working side by side on the Bryant farm, which they operated for over 37 years together. Joe also enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends.
