Miles Hopper

Miles L. Hopper, of Greenfield, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. at the age of 65.

He was born on April 19, 1961 to William Hopper and Jane (Groene) Fite. 

Preceding him in death were his parents and grandparents.

Survivors include sisters, Dicy Hopper of Greenfield, Missouri; and Cara Sparks and her husband, Dave, of Greenfield, Missouri; his brother, Will Fite and his wife, Lori, of Georgia; his step-brother, Jim Fite and his wife, Tammy, of Willard, Missouri; his step-sister, Nancy Crutcher and her husband, Danny, of Willard, Missouri; his life-long friend, Kathryn Elder; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will conduct a memorial graveside service at a later date in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.
