George Snider

George Raymond Snider 69, of Bois D’Arc, Missouri, passed away, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. He was born on July 8, 1956, in Springfield, Missouri to Ray E. and Mary Lou (Payne) Snider. 
On June 8, 1988, Raymond and Brenda Lambeth were united in marriage and shared over 37 years together.  
Raymond proudly served his community as a volunteer firefighter and was a dedicated member of the Bois D’Arc Fire Board, where he also served as president. 
He was a local cattleman who raised Braunvieh cattle for over 35 years. He also managed apartment complexes and custom built homes. 
Raymond enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially fishing, hunting, and traveling to the mountains. Each year, he looked forward to deer camp and participating in black powder hunts. 
Raymond was a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and could often be found reading old western novels, especially those written by Louis L’Amour. He will be remembered for his dedication, love of the outdoors, and the many friendships he built throughout his life.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Brenda Snider; mother, Mary Lou Kilburn; children; Clint Snider and wife, Heather; Brett Snider and wife, Jennifer; Orin Snider and wife, Desire; Amanda Gregg and husband, James; Adrienne Price and husband, William; Ashley Estes and husband, Robert; 16 grandchildren; onegreat-grandchild; sister, Luan Killman and husband, Mike; Uncle Kenny Snider; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and cat, Simba. 
Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Ray Snider; brother, John Snider; stepfather, Max Kilburn; and stepmother, Shirley Snider.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. 
Funeral services were 3 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the funeral home. 
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to National Kidney Foundation and may be left with the funeral home.
