Lafe Rinker
July 01, 2026
Lafe Eugene Rinker, 49, was born on February 23, 1977, to Kenneth and Sonya (Garner) Rinker and departed from this life on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Lafe is survived by his wife, Angela and his two daughters, Ada and Laken; nephews, Keaton (Lyric) Real, Dustin (Jess) Hooten, Blake (Sam) Hooten, and Bryston (Josie) Hooten; parents-in-law, Frank and Joyce Hooten; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Valerie) Hooten and Pete Archer; great-nieces and nephews, include Bentley, Brynlee, Burkley, and Weslynn Real, Kaysonn, Weston, and Radlee Hooten, Avery Hooten, and Cade Hooten.
Lafe was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Sonya Rinker, his sister, Serena Archer, his nephew, Kolton Real and niece, Kaylie Real.
His greatest loves in this life were his two daughters, Ada Jane and Laken Marie. The word “no’ completely left his mind when either of them had an ask. He loved them fiercely and would do anything for them.
Lafe was a girl dad, husband, uncle, farmer, software developer, and giver. He never knew a stranger and was known for having many random conversations. Lafe selflessly gave his time and resources to help others in any time of need.
To know him was to love him. He would make you smile, groan, or walk away with a bad corny joke. He loved dad jokes and puns that made you think.
Lafe and his quirky personality will be greatly missed.
A graveside service under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon was held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Campground Cemetery in Chesapeake, Missouri.
