Betty Mallory

Betty J. Mallory, 94 of Ash Grove, Missouri, passed peacefully at The Manor at Elfindale, on Friday, July 10, 2026. She was born on November 27, 1931, in Galloway, Missouri, to Onas and Elith (Smith) Peltz. 

On January 7, 1972, Betty and Keith Mallory were united in marriage and shared over 54 years together. 

Betty was a retired cosmetologist and homemaker. 

Betty is survived by her husband, Keith Mallory; children, Gary Tuttle and wife, Melva, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; Vickie Harmon-Hall and husband, Galen, of Aurora, Missouri; grandchild, Valerie Harmon; sister-in-law, Connie Knackstedt; brother-in-law, Kenton “Rex” Mallory; niece, Shirley Stokes and husband, Rick; other nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. 

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Onas and Elith Peltz; brothers, Francis Petlz and wife, Sharon and Rollo Peltz and wife, Donna. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Integrity Hospice and can be mailed to 2131 E. Primrose St, Springfield, MO 65804 or left with the funeral home. 

Visitation was 10 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services began at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Ash Grove Cemetery.
