Braxton Gray

Braxton Mansel Gray, 85, Rogersville, Missouri, was born October 9, 1940. As of Sunday, July 19, 2026, his soul and spirit now reside with God Almighty and his lord and savior, Jesus Christ. 

Braxton shared his dad and mom, Clarence Raymond Gray, and Grace Edna (Arnold) Gray with his fourteen siblings. 

His formal education consisted of three years at Lowell School in Aurora, Missouri, five years at Mineral Point country school, four years at Aurora High School and a short time at Drury University. He served his livelihood by working in the grocery industry and owning service stations. His passion in life was to inspire others to pursue their own success.

Braxton is survived by his caring wife, Karen Jane Blades Gray, and a host of family and friends. 

A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri. 

Burial will be held later at Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, Missouri.
