Cleo Ledelle Eggerman

Cleo Ledelle Eggerman, of Lockwood, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 12, 2017, just a few days shy of his 91st birthday.
He was born on March 17, 1926, in Lockwood, Missouri, to Fred & Amelia (Schilling) Eggerman.

Cleo was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church on April 4, 1926, and was confirmed in his faith on April 2, 1939. He graduated from Lockwood High School in 1943.
On September 23, 1950, he married Olga Fleischer at Zion Lutheran Church in Prairie City.
Cleo was a life-long farmer living on the family farm his entire life. He was a Pioneer Seed salesman for almost 50 years. A life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, he served on many boards and committees, taught Bible classes and was also a member of the adult choir for many years. Cleo served on the MFA Oil and Good Shepherd Nursing Home boards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred & Amelia; a brother, Willard Eggerman; and brothers-in-law, Raymond Fleischer, Hans Schulze and John Dwyier.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Olga; two sisters, Aldine Schulze and Jean Dwyier; five children: Leland Eggerman and wife, Linda, of Lockwood; Leslie Eggerman and wife, Jean, of Brookfield; Loren Eggerman and wife, Robin, of Lockwood; Anita Allison and husband, Steve, of Greenfield; and Timothy Eggerman and wife, Lori, of Lockwood; fifteen grandchildren: Lesha Muncy and husband, David; Linse Hawks and husband, Dan; Amy Schnelle and husband, Merle; Lee Eggerman and wife, Kara; Chris Eggerman; Kevin Eggerman and wife, Erin; Ashley Monday and husband, Ryan; Marc Allison and fiancé, Megan Stewart; Matt Eggerman and wife, Erica; Katie Blount and husband, Lucas; Eric Allison and wife, Kirsten; Brittany Allison; Landon Eggerman; Joseph Eggerman; and Thomas Eggerman; twelve great-chil- dren: Madelyn Muncy, Wyatt Hawks, Lucas Eggerman, Emelia Hawks, Addison Eggerman, Anna Hawks, Maria Schnelle, Gage Eggerman, Gavin Eggerman, Pace Allison, Ethan Monday and Clara Schnelle; and six step-great-grandchildren: Nathan Schnelle, Zane Blackburn, Noah Schnelle, Aiden Blackburn, Sydney Blackburn, and Noelle Schnelle.

Visitation was held in the Immanuel Lutheran Church on Tuesday, March 14, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A celebration of Cleo’s life and faith was held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Wednesday, March 15, at 11:00 a.m. with a burial following at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
