G. Larry Beach

G. Larry Beach, age 87, of Marshfield, Missouri, formerly of Arcola, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Larry was born May 10, 1939 to Gerald and Leona (Cooper) Beach.  He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957 and married Vera Chism May 30, 1958.  

They were blessed to spend almost 69 years together.  Their lives were enriched with two children, four grand-children, and five great-grandchildren.

Larry worked for Trans World Airline (TWA) for 40 years, retiring as an inspector in 1996.  After retirement, Larry and Vera moved back home to Dade County, Missouri.  Larry and Vera were long time members of Bona Church of Christ.  After moving to Marshfield due to Larry’s failing health, they were welcomed with open arms at the Marshfield Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jerry Beach; his son, Robert Beach; and his son-in-law, Cliff Domby.

Larry’s memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife, Vera; his brothers: Terry Beach and his wife, Mary Ellen; and Danny Beach and his wife, Martha; Jerry’s wife, June Beach; his daughter, Debbie Domby; his grandchildren: Jason Harmon (Lena), Stephanie Dawley (Robert), Ashley Adams (Dustin), Kelsey Beach (Jason); and his great-grandchildren: Haley, Tara, and Malachi Dawley, Michael Harmon, and Robin Thomas; along with extended family, former colleagues, and close friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Greenfield Funeral Chapel.  

Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
