James Monroe Hammons, 96, of Bois D’Arc, Missouri, passed away, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.

Visitation was held Sunday, March 19, 2017 in the Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, Missouri. Funeral services were Monday, March 20, 2017, in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in the White Chapel Cemetery.

Ida Belle Downs-Painter, age 78, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017, at her daughters home.
A funeral service under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon. Burial followed at the McNeil Cemetery northwest of Marionville, Missouri. Visitation was held from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in the funeral home chapel.

A funeral service with full military honors will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
