Daniel “Dan” Cline

Daniel “Dan” R. Cline, 71, of Everton, passed away, on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
Dan, the son of Mary Sivard, was born in Marietta, Ohio, on April 1, 1946. Dan and his wife, Jane Krieger, were privileged to share nine years together, before her passing in 2005.
Dan lived a life of variety and loved every minute of it. He was a jack of all trades and seemed to have his hand in a little of everything.
Dan was a past president of the Eagles; volunteered with the Everton Fire Department; was a deputy sheriff in Monroe County, Ohio; a dispatcher for the Ohio Highway Patrol; owned a service station; truck driver; and most recently worked for Bill Turner Farms.
Dan also worked with horses and cattle, but he especially loved anything that had a motor. If it had a motor, Dan could drive it.
He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Dan is survived by a son, Dale Cline and Angela Stover of Ohio; a daughter, Danetta Knowlton of Ohio; step children; three grandchildren: Cole Dilts, Emily Knowlton, Hunter Knowlton; special friends: Wayne and Betty Ring-genberg of Everton; Wendy and Bert Brinson of Everton; Robert, Jackie, and Ranae Poole of Windyville; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his mother; two sisters: Darlene Lucas and Mary Jane Lucas; and one brother, Darrell Cline.
Visitation was held Saturday, July 15, 2017, from 1:30 p.m. until service time at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, Missouri. Funeral services began at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Lung Association and may be left at the funeral home.
