Alma “Pat” Garver

Alma “Pat” Patricia Bernadine (Alexander) Garver passed away, Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

Alma, the daughter of John Thomas Alexander and John Ann Beckett, was born in Joplin, Missouri, on May 12, 1942. On August 6, 1961, Alma and Ray Garver were united in marriage and to this union four children were born.

Alma had a green thumb, compared to none. She knew all types of plants and flowers and could grow them all. Alma enjoyed cooking, especially for her family and she loved music, as long as it was loud.
Alma loved dancing and spoiling her grandchildren any chance she had. She enjoyed her family and loved spending as much time with them as she could. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Alma is survived by her children: David Garver and wife, Tammy, of Everton; Janel Graves and husband, Robert, of Everton; Steven Garver and wife, Brigitte, of Germany; Tricia Garver of Springfield; grandchildren: Brandon Garver of Florida; Jennifer Countryman and husband, Scott, of Everton; Derrick Garver of Everton; Bret Graves and wife, Tahara, of Dadeville; Jeffrey Graves of Springfield; Lauren Long and husband, Kyle, of Walnut Grove; Clayton Graves of Brighton; Brock Coble and wife, Kelsie, of Aldrich; DeLana Trantham and husband, Levi, of Walnut Grove; Wade Coble and fiancé, Carrigan Comstock, of Dadeville; 12 great grand- children; two brothers, John Alexander of Joplin, Donnie Alexander of Asbury; three sisters, Wilma Myers of Joplin, Judy Brillhart of Kansas, Phyllis Simon of Joplin; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Cory Royster.

Visitation was Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, Missouri. Funeral services were Monday, November 6, 2017, in the funeral home with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery, Everton, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Liberty Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home.
