Charles Willis Curley

Mr. Charles Willis Curley, age 79, of Ranger, Georgia, departed this life June 20, 2015 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.

Charles was born December 28, 1935, in Mayview, Missouri, the son of the late John E. Curley and Mildred K. Sell Curley. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Ann Curley, and brother, John Curley.

Charles served as a Gunners Mate in the United States Navy and then went on to retire from Trans World Airlines in Kansas City, Missouri.

After retiring from TWA, he moved to Dadeville, Missouri, where he was a longtime resident until moving to Georgia to live with his daughter.

Mr. Charles Willis Curley is survived by his daughter, Rita and Joel Keys of Ranger, Georgia; sons, Jack and Karen Curley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Larry Curley of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Rosemary Stone of Raytown, Missouri; and grandchildren, Joshua Curley and Larry Michael Curley.

He has now joined his wife in heaven and will be greatly missed by his family and others that knew him.

Inurnment will take place at the Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA 30114, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., with military honors provided by the United States Navy.
