Gail Leaming

Gail Leaming, 72, Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017, at Mercy Hospital, Carthage, Missouri.

Gail is noted for her award-winning quilts and her columns she wrote for the Lamar Democrat and The Greenfield Vedette.

She was also well known for her music, which she performed locally and in other states.

Gail is survived by her fiance, Marvin Bancroft-Poole of Louisiana; son, Russ and wife, Kellie Kae Leaming, Pacific, Missouri; daughter, Kamala and husband, Paul Sutton, Stotts City, Missouri; three sisters: Clea and husband, Louis Kleeman, Miller, Missouri; Diana and husband, Lonnie Gray, Granby, Missouri; Evelyn and husband, Bob Gasper, Kansas City,  Missouri; son, Terence and wife, Tereas Winchell, Milford, Missouri; three grandchildren: Wrenn  Leaming; Ariel Leaming and fiance, David Carter; and Anastazia Tanner; and great-grandchild, Addyson.

Visitation was held Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Pugh Funeral Home, Golden City.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Milford Christian Church, Milford, Missouri.

A private burial service will held at a later date.

Memorials may be gifted to the Gail and Ron Leaming Scholarship or the Vesta Winchell Scholarship at the Golden City High School, Golden City, Missouri.

All services were under the direction and care of Pugh Funeral Home, Golden City, Missouri.
