Blue Christmas Service At Lockwood United Methodist Church

December 17, 2017

The Lockwood United Methodist Church, invites you to a "Blue Christmas/Longest Night Service" on Thursday December 21st, at 7 p.m., in the Crossing Building at 524 Main Street, Lockwood.

A Blue Christmas, service is one of remembrance and hope, when the holidays hurt. It’s for anyone who is hurting or is experiencing loss...the death of a spouse, child, family member or another loved one,

... the loss of a family structure,

... the loss of a relationship due to divorce, separation or distance,

...the loss of hope, joy and meaning of life,

...the loss of health or the health of a loved one,

...the loss of a job or financial security,

...the loss of purpose and meaning.

For anyone who is alone, isolated or stressed. For anyone who is experiencing emotional pain.

The light shines on in the darkness...

It’s a time to reflect, an not feel alone while the world rejoices.

You are also invited to our Christmas Eve Service Sunday, December 24th, at 6 p.m. in the Church’s Sanctuary and at 11 p.m. at the Crossing.
