W.R. Bill Davis
W.R (Bill) Davis, 91, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, in the Willard Care Center.
Bill was the son of W.H (Red) Davis and Stella Jones Davis, born on October 2, 1926. Bill lived in Everton, Missouri, his entire life.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reminiscing and telling stories of his time in the Navy.
Bill enjoyed the times he spent with family and friends and would often get a chuckle out of the fond happy memories he shared with them. He enjoyed animals and often brought apples and lettuce to feed his nephews' rabbits because he “got a kick out of watching them”.
He enjoyed his daily visits from the neighborhood dogs and would make it a point to buy dog treats for them and occasionally sneak them a hot dog to enjoy.
He was also a member of the Everton Christian Church. Bill was married to Eugenia Elrod for many years. Eugenia brought two children, Rodney and Karen, to the marriage.
Bill Davis is preceded in death by his wife, Eugenia; parents Red and Stella Davis; and brother- in-law, Martin Hays.
He is survived by two stepchildren, Rodney Miller and wife, Terry and daughter, Karen Miller all of Springfield, Missouri; three sisters, Joan Wymore and husband, Eldon, of Dadeville; Peggy Rummel and husband, John, of Walnut Grove; and Greta Hays of Everton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
